I'M GOING TO EUROPE!!!!

As of Friday, September 05, I have officially been accepted (under conditions that I will not allow myself to cross) into the study abroad program through the Padnos International Center at GVSU!

The program I applied for is through AHA, a partnership program.

My destination: Vienna, Austria!
My departure: Winter semester 2009!

I'll make sure I get everyone familar with this site before I leave, so that we can keep in touch on a regular and frequent basis. (Yes, Mom, I'll show you how to upload pictures and everything). Hopefully then I won't feel so far away...

Believe it or not, I'm going to get homesick. Especially because the kids are such a big part of my life, and of course, so are you guys. Having the blessing to see my brothers and sisters and parents everyday is a great and wonderful thing that I too often take for granted. Being on my own overseas will definitely be a growing experience!...One that I am more than excited for!

Adam and Jay: You guys have to give me the rundown for Rome, so that I know which spots I have to see, and where the best Italian food is. :)

Katie: Hopefully I can get in touch with Pete, and perhaps your Mom? I talked to her the other day when I was watching the kids (she called) and we discussed the fact that she has TONS of German books and literature, and has also traveled a lot...so perhaps some tips from them could be helpful.
